We are excited to welcome you to celebrate our ā€œFestival of Golden Heartsā€ as we commemorate 50 glorious years of our mandir. Willesden Temple, along with the community are extremely proud of how our rich history and legacy will be brought to life during this momentous occasion. From spiritual upliftment through sacred katha reading and unique sabha experiences to health and wellbeing programmes and diverse cultural shows; the Mahotsav promises to be a spectacular celebration of Sanatan Dharma values and community spirit.

As an international visitor, we are keen to ensure your visit is as memorable and comfortable as possible, and would therefore like to share some important and useful information as you finalise your travel plans.

ACCOMMODATION

Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Willesden has negotiated a discounted rate with Ramada London North M1 which is located approximately 20 mins by car from the mandir. Willesden Temple can reserve a room for you or, if you would like to book directly with the hotel, you can use the discount code: WILLESDEN50

Heathrow Airport is approximately a 50 minutes’ drive, Luton Airport will take approximately 30 minutes by car. If travelling by public transport, Edgware Tube Station, the northern most station on the Northern Line, is a 20-minute drive.

Willesden Temple has arranged for transport between the hotel and the mandir twice a day, to allow guests the opportunity to enjoy the morning and evening sabhas as well as any evening shows and events. Timings of the evening programmes and the shuttle service will be shared closer to the event.

FOOD

So that everyone can thoroughly enjoy the Festival of Golden Hearts, Willesden Temple will be providing meals for devotees and visitors three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

TOUR OF LONDON

It would not be a trip to London without visiting some of the historical landmarks our great city has to showcase. Willesden Mandir can organise a Central London sightseeing trip for our international visitors.

MEDICAL

For Accident & Emergency, Watford General Hospital is located within 20 minutes of the hotel.

Whilst at the Mandir, we will also have a full team of First Aiders on hand.

TRANSPORT

As mentioned above, the mandir will provide a complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel.

Willesden Green Station is the closest tube station and is approx. a 9 min walk via Chatsworth Road. You can also use the 98 bus which stops right outside the Temple on Deerhurst Road (Stop C)

If you decide to travel by taxi, Uber is a common and easy way to travel in London.

Should you wish to bring your own car, or please note of there will be limited parking on site. Passengers can be dropped off however parking will be at a dedicated parking facility nearby, where you can park and be transported to the mandir via a shuttle bus.
